Course Description

Introduce participants to the fundamentals of project management, including industry-wide best practices and techniques to improve the efficiency of projects and ensure their success. Session is 8 hours and may be offered in a single day or non-consecutive days in 4-hour segments.

Audience

Individuals whose primary job might not be project management, but who need to manage or coordinate projects. Also, anyone who is considering a career path in project management and wants an overview of the field and its common practices.

Managing a Project

  • Begin Project Work

  • Implement Change Control

Closing the Project

  • Close a Project
